Sunshine Action food bags to be distributed alongside Montefiore's Healthcare for the Homeless Team in the Bronx to support their medical care mission.

Street Food Donation with Interfaith Assembly on Housing & Homelessness
Sunshine Action volunteers took to the NYC streets to support the unhoused and jobless alongside IAHH NGO's hot food event. Warm socks and toiletry bags were donated by Sunshine Action as many lined the sidewalk with gratitude.
Food Bag Packing & Donation with Columbia University Student Volunteers
Food Donations and Baby supplies were packed and distributed with student volunteers from Columbia University. Diaper and food donations were generously donated by Wells Fargo Bank for Maya's Place and Victory House centers in the Bronx. Both are part of The Children's Village, who are supporting single moms and young teens.

This donation was supported by private donors in Colombia during a touring trip by the US Chapter leader. The nuns continue to serve the poorest of the poor in all 150+ global centers. Sunshine Action volunteers are encouraged to spread the "sunshine" during any travel plans around the globe!

Thank you to NYU Stern's Net Impact Club members for packing food bags to support our donation to Siena House Center in the Bronx, NY. Program Director Edward Beglane at Siena House appreciated the food and diapers, which will benefit their 27 women residents, some of whom are pregnant or have children seeking safety and support.

We are very grateful to our private donors who supplied toiletries, feminine hygiene products and clothing to 66 women at the H.E.L.P Brownsville Women's Center in Brooklyn. The packing was generously hosted at the Downtown Kids Office in Tribeca with kindhearted first-time volunteers. We hope the supplies help the women in their transition to new permanent homes and new jobs!
